In accordance with the articles of association, members of the Board receive no reward for their work. They are entitled to a reimbursement of the costs incurred by them in the performance of their duties and a non-excessive attendance fee.
The objectives of the Foundation are to fight poverty, unemployment, social inequality and other social and environmental problems by promoting and supporting social businesses and social entrepreneurship in developing and emerging countries. The Foundation shall make every effort inter alia to attain and accomplish its objectives by helping people in developing and emerging countries to set up a (small) social business/enterprise by providing small credits, small donations or helping them to develop knowledge and skills. These social businesses will provide people in poverty with much-needed products, services or opportunities of income that complement or exceed the solutions offered by traditional aid.
Financial Accountability: 2019 will be the first year so an annual account is not yet available.
