Akash is an Investment Analyst at Yunus Social Business in India.
He supports the team in deal sourcing, due diligence, the transaction process, and providing non-financial support for the social entrepreneurs. Before joining YSB, He worked at McKinsey and AnaCap for a combined three years, gaining experience in data visualisation and private equity. He had prior expertise working on late-stage company acquisitions, mainly in the Fintech sector with a focus on insurtech. In addition to the aforementioned positions, He worked as a project assistant for an NGO with a focus on tribal welfare, which strengthened his knowledge in the field of project management and social impact. He holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce, focused on finance from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.
