Director Strategic Ventures and Partnerships
Tasnima is Director for Strategic Ventures and Partnerships at Yunus Social Business.
Her role is to ensure YSB’s long-term sustainability as an organisation and grow YSB to the next stage of its evolution globally, through her expertise as a business strategist, lawyer, academic and leader. Tasnima’s professional background in London (2014 – 2018) includes working as an independent Strategist, advising Founders, CEOs, Executives, Entrepreneurs and Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals. In these roles, she advised in start-up, growth, turnaround/transformation, and fundraising/investment strategies. Her professional background in Australia (2008 – 2014) included working as a Management Consultant at top global strategy firm, LEK Consulting, and a Senior Lawyer in the magic circle firms Allen & Overy and Allens Linklaters, where she developed significant commercial and transaction experience advising on a broad range of strategic and legal issues. She co-founded an international NGO, which operates a school of 300+ students, an orphanage and a medical clinic for internally displaced refugees of natural disasters in a remote and rural area of Bangladesh.
Tasnima graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business and in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, where she was a Merits Scholar and Commonwealth Scholar.
Tasnima was born in Bangladesh, raised in Sydney (Bangladeshi/Australian dual citizen) and currently resides in London, UK; she calls all three countries her home.
