The MAN Impact Accelerator #2 isn’t quite over yet and now is your chance to celebrate the journey and the closing of another successful batch.
Back in September, we received hundreds of applications from all over the world and we identified 8 promising social entrepreneurs in the mobility and logistics space. Since, we welcomed them in Munich to kick off the accelerator journey, travelled to 4 continents and 8 months later, we return to Munich for the final highlight of the year…
Whether you are an intrapreneur, startup entrepreneur, industry expert, investor, social business enthusiast or journalist, save the date in your calendars and join us for the 2nd MIA Closing Ceremony.
The purpose of this evening is to make new connections, hear innovative social business ideas from budding entrepreneurs in the mobility and logistics space, experience the symbiotic relationship between social and corporate innovation and bring together all those who wish to play a part in making the world a better place!
Events like these are also part of what inspires and supports the intrapreneurial culture that is rapidly disrupting the industry. This will be a unique opportunity for us to showcase the social entrepreneurial drive of large corporations such as MAN Truck and Bus and their ability to use their talent and expertise to solve problems across a wide range of markets.
What happens if you decide to participate?

This is for growth-stage businesses that seek to solve a social problem. We are looking for businesses that want to level up and become ready for investment. Social Businesses that seek to apply to the programme should be generating revenues of around US$250,000.
So, here we are. The time for change and personal re-shaping through resolutions is upon us already. But this doesn’t just mean an opportunity for personal improvement, it also means a time for professional self-development too.
Earlier this year we took a group of philanthropists and partners to visit some of the social businesses in our portfolio in Uganda including Godson Commodities, Impact Water & Tugende. We also visited Kenya to see some of our pipeline companies.
In this guest post, Ritu Soni Srivastava (https://ritu.io/mentorship-basics/) talks about her involvement as mentor of the MAN Impact Accelerator (our corporate innovation accelerator program) and the 3 things she would encourage every mentorship program to adopt.
