Loan for Social Business Rozafa has been financed on KIVA.org!
We have teamed up with Kiva.org to start an new initiative, to gather the initial investment for a Social Business through Crowdfunding!
On August 16th, the website where people from all over the world could invest in Rozafa, went online. The unexpected happened: in less than two days, we raised $23,950 to fully fund the loan!
Rozafa will begin to pay back the loan after 2 years.
Thank you very much everyone who has contributed to our first loan on Kiva! Get ready for our next loan soon!
Rozafa is a social business that will help 120 poor, rural Albanian women earn a livelihood from making beautiful traditional Albanian handicrafts, and distribute these to the European and international markets.
